It is played in Twenty-20 format. It is played in round-robin leagues from the groups. The first edition of the tournament was held in September 2016 with six franchises consisting of domestic and international players. The 202I Indian Premier League will begin in Chennai on April 9 with games initially being staged behind closed doors. The tournament will return to India - having been held in the United Arab.

It was created in 2013 and replaced the Caribbean Twenty 20 as the premier Twenty 20 competition in the Caribbean. CPL is the only cricketing tournament in the Caribbean which gets good response from both the crowd and the players. Even the Hollywood seems to be interested in that with celebrities like Mark Wahlberg who have been seen at this league supporting West Indian cricket. CPL has 6 teams in total

5. Ram Slam T20 League
The Ram Slam T20 Challenge is the premier Twenty 20 Cricket competition in South Africa, first contested in the 2003–04 season. It was previously known as the Standard Bank Pro20 Series then MiWay T20 Challenge and now as RamSlam T20 Challenge.

The tournament’s first edition started with only 5 team on Feb 8, 2016. Due to the security situation in Pakistan the first season of the league operated entirely in the United Arab Emirates.
7. Bangladesh Premier League
Bangladesh Premier League known as BPL, Follow the path of IPL. The Bangladesh Premier League replaced the previous competition, National Cricket League T20, and features seven city-based franchises, instead of six division teams which had participated previously.
It have given many good players and recent stars like Mustafeez ur Rehman are the products of BPL. High pressure games and exposure to bigger platform has induced confidence in the current Bangladesh players which has never been showcased by any Bangladeshi team before. 7 teams lock horn in every BPL edition in their quest for winning.

And now professional cricket in India is all set to resume this month with Punjab T10 League.
However, for International cricket in India fans have to wait for more time. But with Punjab T10 League, which is set to take place this month, the hopes are again alive. Earlier, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly hints to conduct the IPL this year. Recent reports also suggest that India are likely to tour Sri Lanka in August for a limited-overs series.
Punjab T10 League To Start This Month

Punjab T10 League will be held at 10-10 sports club ground in Bathinda. The tournament will fixture six teams which are named after the cities of Punjab. The tournament will last for 16 days which involve 33 matches. Amritsar Alligators, Bathinda Bulls, Firozpur Falcons, Ludhiana Lions, MogaMongoose & Patiala Panthers are the six teams. Two matches will be played every day and three matches will be on the final day. The top 4 teams will qualify for the final day where two semifinals will be played before the final. The tournament will be going to play between 15 June to 30 June 2020.

According to Balwinder Kumar Sharma (the tournament organiser), the tournament will take all necessary measures of social distancing & the ground will have all the measures of safety of the players. No celebration will be allowed & no saliva or spit to be used on the ball while playing.

West Indies team has already reached in England to play three matches test series. The series will start from July 8, 2020, at Southampton. The much-awaited serious will be played with news rules of ICC because of Coronavirus pandemic.
